The Lawn was transformed into a spooky spectacle on Monday for the University of Virginia’s annual Halloween tradition, Trick-or-Treating on the Lawn.

Hundreds of local families turned out to celebrate the event, some even arriving in carefully coordinated group costumes. UVA students came together to welcome them all, handing out candy and delighting the crowds with some of their own unique costumes.

From the inflatable dinosaurs prowling the Lawn to the decked-out dogs in their finest Halloween attire, UVA Today captured all the best “Trick-or-Treating on the Lawn” moments on video.
